The High Sheriff’s Concert for Swindon Cares raises £7000

Last Saturday saw well over 250 people attend The High Sheriff’s Concert for Swindon Cares at Christ Church. The Kentwood Show Choir put on an amazing Concert for us – Their “Joseph megamix” from the musical Joseph & the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat got Peter Addington, the current High Sheriff dancing in the aisles with Sheila Harrod.

Thanks to everyone who supported us – those that came to the Concert, those that sent donations & the local companies who advertised in the programme meant we will have raised around £7000 for our 2 Charities – The Swindon Carers Centre & The Alzheimer’s Society.       Have a look at  http://www.swindonadvertiser.co.uk/news/11264186.Praise_be_for_leader_Sheila/ & follow us on Facebook too.
